Entry Fee : £30.00 per pair; Format: 4BBB Stableford; Hcp Index Limit : 28.0; Age Limit: Senior (55+); Other Info; bottom 9 twice, play of yellow tees, 85% of course handicap, includes 2’s, 3 nearest pins and tea/coffee and cake halfway round.

 

Friday 15th August. Ladies Team Open.

Entry Fee: £30.00 per team (3); Format: Team of 3 Stableford – best 2 scores; Hcp Index Limit : 40.0 (ladies); Other Info: All visitors receive an extra Stableford point.

 

 

Sunday 21st September. Mixed Team Open.

Entry Fee: £40.00 per team (4); Format: Team of 4 Stableford – best gent/lady to score; Hcp Index Limit : 28.0 (men) 36.0 (ladies); Other Info: Includes some sponsored holes.

 

Friday 26th September. Ladies Individual 9 hole Open.

Entry Fee: £15.00 per team (3); Format: Individual Stableford (9 Hole); Hcp Index Limit : 45.0 (ladies); Other Info: Includes 2’s comp and nearest the pin on 5th. All played on the flat.

The monies raised in the Development Draw are reinvested in your club. Past projects included bunker sand, French windows, replacements window units in the clubhouse, signage, the beginning of refurbishment of the practice area, winter tees and the installation of an outdoor seating area.

Monday 6th January 2025

We are  pleased to inform you we have a new Head green keeper. Scott Robinson will commence work for Oldham Golf Club today, Monday 6th January 2025. Scott comes to Oldham with a vast experience of green keeping having started his career at Stamford Golf Club in 1990 and for the last 21 years as head green keeper at Crompton and Royton Golf Club. Scott will be assisted by Adam and together they should provide us with an excellent green keeping team. We ask you to be patient in the early stages to allow time for Scott’s experience to make any necessary changes to the course.

Friday 7th February 2025 – Annual Dinner Dance

  • 9.30 am Mr Captain and Lady Captain’s Drive Ins
  • 10.00 am shotgun start for the 3 man teams (there will be an additional 9 hole competition at 2 pm for ladies who decide not to enter the shotgun start at 10 am)
  • Meat & Potato pie in the clubhouse after the main competition courtesy of the captains.
