• Friday 22nd September. Ladies 9 hole Open, play in 3’s, £5 (including tea and cake) per person. Single Stableford, maximum handicap index is 40.0, (95% of course handicap) and including 2s. (Visitors receive 1 extra Stableford point per visitor and handy course tips).

• Admission Free

Bouncy Castle, games (golf challenges, croquet, rounders) and prizes. Cakes and sweet stalls.

Two FGAoE Category D events, and a combined FGAoE category C event. Points awarded to North and National Leader boards in all Categories.

Quiz Night

• Friday 21st July

All are welcome and the bar will open from 7 pm with the quiz starting around 7.30. Your quizmaster will be John Baines and the cost will be £5 per team (a maximum of 4 persons per team) and there will be prizes for the winners. Tickets are now available in the shop and behind the bar, or you can enter on the night. We look forward to your support and a cracking night.

Sunday 25th June, Gents Open Team of 3, £36 per team.
Stableford, best 2 scores to count, maximum Handicap Index 28.0, (85% of Course Handicap). Visitors receive an extra 2 Stableford points per visitor, maximum of 4 points per team. Prizes include: best all visitor team, longest drive, nearest the pin and nearest the pin in 2. Option to enter 2s comp.

Senior (55+) Gents Open

• Thursday 11th May. Senior (55+) Gents Four Ball Betterball, £30 per pair. Stableford to be played over the bottom 9 twice. Maximum handicap index is 28.0, (85% of course handicap), and includes 2’s, 3 nearest pins and tea/coffee and cake halfway round.

Saturday 6th May- Coronation day at Oldham Golf Club

• Bar Open from 10 am
• Watch the Coronation live on the big screen
• Sample Sue’s delicious pies

• A 9-hole competition for ladies with and without handicaps

Saturday 25th March- Mr Captain and Lady Captain planned Drive Ins

• With regret the planned Drive-ins were postponed as the course was saturated and unplayable. The Drive-ins will now take place next Saturday, 1st April, at 9.30am with the shotgun at 10.30. Comps and handicaps will re-book BRS on your behalf. Please message Wayne Anderson if you will not be available to play. Kind regards Comps and Handicaps

O.G.C. Annual General Meeting 

• O.G.C. Annual General Meeting Wednesday 8th February from 7.45 pm at Oldham Golf Club.
• The Captain’s handed over last night at the AGM and the new dignitaries for 2023 were officially sworn in.
