As usual the course is open subject to prevailing weather conditions but members and visitors please note that we are now on fairway mats tee to green. Winter tees are also in use with winter greens currently marked as ground under repair.
Saturday 22nd November – Presentation & Race Night
See Eileen Cowell / Sue behind the bar / Brian in the shop to make your investment before the races can be held
- £5 to name and own each horse
- £5 to train each horse
Race Night
- Bar Open 7 pm
- Pick up your Race Card
- First Race at 7.45 pm
- TRI-CAST (£1) to win £100
- TOTE (50p a ticket) for all races
- BIDS for the Auction Stakes Horses and Trainers
Presentations
- The major competition presentations will take place during the race interval at approx. 9 pm
Friday 5th December – Ladies Xmas Party
- Arrive 7 for 7.30 start
- Meal followed by “New York, New York” a cabaret spectacular produced by Sheila Antrobus
- Dancing until late
Thursday 11th December – GEMS Commemorative Day
- From 8.30 am the Commemorative Cup golf competition
- From 2 for 2.30 pm the GEMS Christmas Lunch
- Around 5 pm the golf cup and medal presentations
- From around 6.30 pm Dave Kendrick entertains
- Until late karaoke, music etc.
Saturday 13th December – Bottle Draw
- Write your name on the list if you want to donate
- Donate your bottle to Sue or Mel behind the bar
- Buy your draw ticket for £1
