PLANTATION
The eighth hole is another long par 4 with a slight bend to the left. Rough and out of bounds are down the right but with the fairway sloping from right to left that is often where people find themselves aiming. A tee shot straight down the centre will run slightly left but will leave a mid to long iron to a large sloping green protected by bunkers left and right. The pin position can make a difference to the choice of club for the approach shot. The green slopes right to left with quite a hollow in the middle-left hand side that tends to gather the ball.
