ROLLING HOME
The seventeenth hole looks easy enough (providing the wind isn’t blowing too hard) and some big hitters may decide to go for the green. There isn’t a lot of room between the tee and green if you go direct and there is a lot of rough and out of bounds on the right. The safest shot is to the heart of the fairway and watch the ball run down the hill and right. It should then be just a short chip down to the green, but off a downhill lie it is never that simple. The green is quite large and looks relatively flat, but actually has a number of subtle borrows that take careful study.Hole 17 | |||
